Stand out of Crowd
Automations
are happening everywhere. Newer technologies such as Robotics and Artificial
Intelligence (AI) will change or replace fewer Job's. There are mass job losses
in various companies and the reason is simply that these employees could not
add value to their company. It is predicted that there is a focus for
Automation and AI in companies that will result in a few million more job
losses in 2025. However, there will also be a vast array of new jobs, newer
opportunities available. Worldwide there will be new Jobs and millions need to
reskill their capability.
In the given scenario the change should happen at the grass-root level. The
curriculum at the school level should start imparting these skills so that the
student can be ready to meet the world challenges. The Teachers,
Principals Goals need to be realigned to these changes to prepare the students
for future skills. Students Leadership Qualities should be the high degree of
focus and how to create globally competitive students for generation next.
Skill Development programs are happening at the school level but we need to
increase multifold to compete. Life Skills should be given more priority.

Do you
agree with me or not?

The objective of School should be to help & enable children find their core strength within & bring them out to serve larger well being of society.
ReplyDeleteEach and every one is unique & original in their own way.
India should come out from the traditional way of teaching and moreover the focus should be on creation of more skilled manpower rather than typical degree holders.
ReplyDeleteVery well said. Focus should be on soft skills as well. In the growing competitive landscapes and fast changing tech environments, it is essential for students not just to deal with known challenges but also deal with unknown challenges effectively. Who knows, they may be working with a robot / bot side by side. So, it’s over and above people skills - it’s about tech ‘mind space’ management as well. And the best place to inculcate these skills would be the schools. It’s where everything starts.
ReplyDeleteLearning models that infuse subject matter expertise and life skills are crucial.
You are spot on BGK sir.
Very well articulated! 21st century skills is not about knowing everything - it is about being able to 'find' everything that needs to be found, being able to 'apply' what we find to real world problem solving & 'collaborating ' with what we find.
